Just twenty-four hours after a proposal, the world feels wide open and unhurried. We headed up to Mount Tamalpais for a celebratory session in the thick of a warm, bright afternoon. Dressed in effortless linen, they brought along a guitar, a favorite art book, and the joy of two people settling into a brand-new milestone.
Mount Tam remains one of the Bay Area’s most versatile backdrops for intimate storytelling. Within just a few minutes’ walk from the trailheads, you are met with vast rolling ridgelines dropping straight toward the ocean fog line. While high-traffic spots like Trojan Point draw the weekend crowds, moving just slightly beyond reveals pockets that are ten times quieter, wind-swept, and completely undisturbed.
We wandered the ridges through the heat of late afternoon until the coastal glow settled over the hills—capturing music, shared pages, and unprompted laughter as the sun slipped below the horizon.
